happy birthday to us!

August is birthday month for us!
Blair's big day is on the 14th, and mine is on the 23rd.
This year we decided to get one big gift for each other for our birthdays and we picked beach cruisers!
It was definitely a good decision, and we have been riding our bikes EVERYWHERE!
We love them so much!
A couple days before our birthdays, our cousin Hayley threw a birthday party for all of us with August birthdays!
She had the cutest "Float Station" set up, complete with all different flavored sodas, and ice creams!
She is the best party planner!
Blair's birthday was on a Sunday this year, so it made things a little harder to celebrate.
To make things even better, we had to speak in church!
Poor Blair, right? Honestly though he was such a good sport and didn't complain at all.
After church Robbin made a big birthday dinner, and I made his favorite butter finger cake!
On Monday we went out to dinner at Outback with Sky and Baye to celebrate!
They are such great friends, and we can always count on them to support us on our b-days and everything else. We are lucky to have them as our best friends.
I felt so spoiled on my birthday. Everyone went out of their way to make it a great day!
People dropped off treats, brought balloons, sent cards, gave gifts, etc.
One of my young women gave me Harry Potter accessories, because we both love HP and are planning a marathon party! haha! She is so cute!
I was grateful for it all!
We went out to dinner (again with Sky and Baye) at Olive Garden, and it was absolutely delicious!
One of the highlights of my birthday was when a little "birthday elf" came and found me at dinner, and brought me a gift from far away friends!
It was such a nice gift, and I just love James and Karly so much for making an effort to make my birthday special all the way from California. :)
The birthday madness continued to the weekend, when we headed up to Kaysville to be with my family!
It was the first time we had all been together since last Christmas. It was wonderful to be together again! We have so much fun... I just wish we all lived closer. Someday maybe? I'll keep my fingers crossed.
The weekend was full of FUN!
High school football game to watch Libby dance,
playing with the new puppy Lilly,
bowling and arcade games at Boondocks,
dinner at Tepanyaki,
opening birthday presents and getting very spoiled,
picnic at Sundance,
and a Fowler family party!
Oh, and to top it off... my mom brought me home Crumb Cupcakes all the way from NYC for my birthday! She sure knows the way to my heart! I have the worlds best mom!
It has been such a great few birthday weeks!
We are so grateful to all of you who helped make it so special.
:)
