Our current living situation...

I feel like this is such a long story, but I do want to have it documented on my blog... so here it goes!
Last August Blair put an offer on a short sale.
Being that he was the 3rd offer and that it was a short sale, he didn't even tell me about it until December when we were moved to the 1st place offer. At that time, we went and actually looked at the house to see if it was something we wanted to buy. I absolutely loved the house, but Blair kept telling me not to get my hopes up because, "most short sales don't work out."
While we were playing the waiting game on the house, we were asked to "house sit" for an amazing couple in Little Valley. Blair had met Ross and Edith while working as their Realtor  and had developed a strong friendship with them.  They were leaving on a 1 year mission to Denmark and asked if we would like to take care of their BRAND NEW home while they were gone. Of course our answer was, 'YES!" It would be an amazing opportunity for us to save money for the next year while living in an incredible home and an amazing neighborhood.
Well...
after committing to Ross and Edith, we were informed that we had gotten the short sale house! We were SOOOO excited. It is the perfect house for us, and will be ideal as we start and raise a family here in the next couple years.
So, yes we just bought a new house... but we are not living in it for another year.
We have rented it out for the next year while we house sit here in Little Valley.
That is our current living situation! We feel very blessed and lucky as to how it has all worked out.  Moving was bittersweet... we have loved living in the apartment at Kent and Robbin's, but we are very excited to start this new adventure. The last two years in Santa Clara have been truly blissful! We wouldn't change the time spent there for anything.
We LOVE Little Valley.
This neighborhood and area has totally stolen my heart.
I'm really glad we get to stay here for a year and enjoy all that it has to offer.
