Sunday morning we woke up and went to church before heading to the board the ship! We ran into these cute sister missionaries who knew Gavin and they said they love him, and that he is an amazing missionary. It made me so happy!
After church we went to the port, and after standing in line for 3 hours (incredibly frustrating) we finally boarded the ship!
The Norwegian Star is such a gorgeous ship! We spent the night eating, exploring, going to a variety show, eating more, etc.
Blair loves coming on cruises because so many of the ship's employees are Filipino. He gets to speak Tagalog a lot, and of course the crew members LOVE him. It was especially fun this cruise because Blake also speaks Tagalog so they both talk to the crew and the Filipinos just think it's hilarious that two American boys speak their language perfectly. I love sitting back and watching!
After a few hours of wandering and a couple ice cream cones later, we finally had an idea of our surroundings!
It was a fabulous day!

The next day was a day at sea. I love having the first day of the cruise be a day a sea because there is always so much to explore and do. Our ship was amazing!
First thing in the morning we hit the gym, then the buffet for breakfast. (Gym and then buffet is a great combination on a cruise haha!) After that the day was full of activities and relaxing. First was the shuffle board tournament, and after that was ping ping. The boys crack me up! They are so competitive and so hilarious. People probably think they are crazy!
We also had plenty of time to soak up the sun and read our books. It really was a perfect day!
For dinner we ate at the Aqua dinning room. I LOVE the dining room experience on cruises! It's always delicious.
After dinner we went to a few different shows...
...and then did a white elephant gift exchange as a family. It was very entertaining!
