5 months old!

5 months old:

 (4-5 months)

•so social, will talk and smile at anyone

•has the best laugh

•loves to be thrown and tickled 

•favorite song: the rabbit song 

•really strong neck and back

•only rolls from tummy to back 

•sitting up better in bumbo

•reaches for things

•still loves his bath and taking baths with us 

•grabs toys with his hands

•gets very distracted while nursing. We call him the dive bomber. He looks up any time I talk, then dives back in! haha

•stares at his mama and is sooo sweet

•laughs a lot 

•loves to be played with and tickled

•started taking longer naps at 4.5 months

•three naps a day, 2 hours of awake time in between naps 

•slept through the night a few times!!  

•but usually eats once at night, in the early morning

•traveled to Florida and Palm Springs

•hates cold pool or ocean water

•sucks on his hands and drools like crazy

•gets really mad/sad when he lay him down if he is wanting to be held. 

•has been blowing out of his diapers a lot. It may be time to move to 3's. 

•weighs almost 17 lbs 

•still swaddled for sleep 

•loves his binky 

•sleep regression at almost 5 months, lots of night wakings, binky runs, etc. yikes! 

•goes to bed between 8-8:30 pm 

•will sleep in until 8:30-9 am if after he eats in the early morning we pretend it's still night time and bring him into cuddle with us in our bed! 

•started rice cereal and loves it.

•still exclusively breast fed, eats every 3-4 hrs

•moved up to size 3 diapers

•3-6 month clothes
