October 7, 2010

livin' the good life.

I can't believe it has already been two and a half months since we were married!
Man how times flies.
But I feel like it is an appropriate time for a
massive
update.
It has been a jam packed two months that's for sure.
Here is the rundown of what we've been up to.

JULY...
We were sealed for time and all eternity in the
Salt Lake Temple
on July 22nd, 2010.

It was the best day of our entire lives.
We are so glad that we get to be together forever!
Honestly, our wedding was everything I ever dreamed of and more.
We are so grateful to have shared it with our many loved ones who helped to make our
special day incredible.
It would be terribly unappreciative of me if I failed to mention my sweet mom.
She put so much time into making it our perfect day.
And she totally succeeded!
She is stunning.
She's everything I hope to become someday.

(I promise I will post more wedding pictures and wedding details...coming soon!)

After our wedding festivites we took off to Mexico to the
GRAND MAYAN RIVIERA.

And yes indeed it was grand!
On our honeymoon we:
-drank pina coladas

-read books
-played on the beach

-swam in the amazing pools

-ate at yummy restaruants

-saw huge lizards everywhere
-went to Cozumel
and rode scooters around the whole island

-snorkled

-pool hopped in Cancun

-went to a dolphin show
-loved every second at Xel Ha
-explored Tulum during a tropical down pour

-rode bikes

-saw aligators
-touched sharks

-loved Playa Del Carmen

AND
never left each others side.

It was one of the most amazing weeks of our lives!
We were so sad to have to leave and come home to reality...
but we've realized that reality really is quite great!
AUGUST...
We got all settled into our new apartment.
We absolutely love it.
We have some amazing neighbors.
(aka: the Skousens, and the Barkers)
...
We got a new sister in law!
Mitch and Cardin were married on the 7th.

It was such a wonderful day.
They both looked great! We are so happy for them and love them very much!

In August we celebrated our birthdays!
On the 14th Blair turned the big 25!

And on the 23rd I turned 21!

He, with the help of a few of my besties, planned a little surprise party with some of my closest friends!
It is so weird to think that when we met Blair was 22 and I was only 18!
Time flies.

We went camping at Kent's lake with a few of our best friends:
The Nielsons, The Ences, and the Jorgensens.
We had so much fun!

We made a few quick trips to St. George.

We enjoyed the Moonlight Chairlift at Sundance with Shelb & Ry and Linds & Kory.
It is one of our favorie things to do every year!

(Two years ago...)

(This year... missing Michelle & Aaron so much!)
August also brought us back school at BYU.
Blair is hard at work in Economics,
and I am in my last semester in Communications.
We will both be college graduates before you know it!

SEPTEMBER...
This fall we have spent a lot of time in Kaysville watching this stud.

Go Davis Darts!
He is the QB and they are 7-0 so far this season.
We love going home to watch Gavin play!
One of the best things about his games is that we get to watch Libby dance during half time.
She is a D'ette this year,
 and is incredibly talented!

Two of our favorite couples got married!

First: Ali and Jordan Jensen...

Alison was a stunning bride! She was absolutely gorgeous!
We felt extremely lucky to be so involved in their wedding day.
The ceremony was amazing,
and the reception was a blast!
We danced the night away.
Love you guys so much!
Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day!
Second: Karly and James Barker...
Aren't they adorable?
We are lucky to have them as our new neighbors.
Their wedding festivities were wonderful.
It all started with a delicious dinner,
followed by an amazing reception.
Everything was picture perfect!
Thank you for letting us be a big part of your wedding day!
We love you both so very very much.

On September 25th
we ran the Swiss Days 5k
to kick off our Swiss Days holiday down in Santa Clara.
(pictures to come)
We love the tradition of running the race with the whole family
every year.
After the race we enjoyed the food and festivites.
It was a great weekend with the Frei fam!

October...
is now here!
Our apartment is all decorated for Halloween.
I can't believe how quickly time is passing.
They say time flies when you are having fun...
and that must be true.
This has been the best two and a half months of our lives.

Sorry for the huge update and all of the pictures!
I just thought it was necessary...
it was right?!
