Swiss Days!

This weekend was Swiss Days!

This holiday is one of my favorite things about Santa Clara.

The whole town goes all out to make it a blast!

There are so many booths set up around the town hall with games, food, and shopping!

On Thursday we went to the opening dinner to see our grandparents get announced as the Grand Marshall's of Swiss Days.

They looked so cute all dressed up in their Swiss clothes.

On Friday we watched our cousin perform at the talent show, played the carnival games, and then watched the fireworks!

On Saturday we had a very busy day...

it started bright and early when we ran the annual Swiss Days 5k with the whole family.

(just wanted to document how long my pony tail is getting! haha)

After the 5k we went to the parade.

Blair, Blake, and Josh Hurst were in charge of being announcers as the floats went by...

it is always extremely entertaining.

They make everyone laugh!

After the parade we had lunch, walked around the booths, and then headed to a family reunion.

Then we headed back to the Frei's for a family ping pong tournament.

As always, Swiss days weekend was a complete blast.

I'm always a little sad when it is over...

but can't wait for next year!
