Our birthdays!

Both of our birthdays are in August, and we had such a fun time celebrating this year!

For Blair's 27th birthday...

-I woke him up with breakfast in bed

-Opened presents before work

-Drove to Provo for my cousins wedding

-Ate dinner at Magelbys

-Had cake and ice cream at Lando and Courts

(with Blair's favorite cake, of course-- thanks mom!)

-and opened more presents from my family!

Even though we were traveling for the big bulk of the day, Blair was a good sport and we definitely made the best of it! 

I love him so much, and I loved trying to spoil him on his birthday.

I keep teasing him that he is just "a shade under 30" now. haha!

For my 23rd birthday...

-He woke me up with breakfast in bed

-Showered me in amazing gifts. He totally spoiled me with all surprises!

 

-Received lots of very sweet texts, like:

-Some of my best friends Shelby and Dani Bree sent me cupcakes!! Love you girls!!

-We headed to Vegas (with lots of treats from my sweet Mother in Law!)

-Ate a quick dinner at Chipolte 

-Caught a flight to Portland

-and hung out with our dear friends the Nielsens!

My birthday was definitely a success in every way, that's for sure!

We also had a chance to celebrate our birthdays on a few different occasions.

We had a big get together/summer party to celebrate our birthdays, and Anj's going away party.

It was so fun to be with our friends and celebrate all together.

Even though I was depressed that Anj was moving...

(since she has truly become like my sister here in St. George)

we still managed to have a lot of fun!

I have been missing her terribly!!

We also had the chance to go out to dinner with my family a few different times.

While we were in Provo we went out to birthday dinner at Rodizio Grill. 

It was delicious, and so fun to be together!

Then when Landon, Courtney, Bradley, and my mom were driving though St. George on their way to move to AZ, they stopped for my birthday dinner at Olive Garden.

(my mom brought my favorite cupcakes from Provo! Love her!)

It is tradition to go to Olive Garden on my birthday!

I'm very glad my mom made it happen, she truly is the best.

We were so happy to see them for a quick visit.

It made my day that much more special.

We feel extremely blessed every year in August.

We have felt love from so many people and we are grateful to be surrounded by such wonderful, caring, and loving friends and family.

Thank you everyone...

for making our days so special.

Here's to being 27 and 23...
